Our water training courses are recognised by the appropriate bodies and will provide you and/or your employees with the relevant accreditation required to work with all established water authorities within the United Kingdom. The National Water Hygiene and eusr card training scheme was created at the request of the body that represents water companies throughout the UK, Water UK. The course that we provide does not require any previous knowledge and is open to people of all experience levels.
The training delivered as part of the National Water Hygiene Scheme is recognised by the EUSR. Upon completion of the course you will be issued with a cover note and be automatically registered on the EUSR. Cards are issued within 28 days but only after relevant payments and paperwork has been completed. A health screening will also be undertaken to ensure that operatives do not carry any waterborne diseases.
The EUSR water hygiene course will last for a total of half a working day and will include, amongst others, a presentation, health screening and then a multiple choice test. Our trainers will work closely with all participants to give you the best possible guidance and assistance required to understand the course materials and successfully complete the course. The Utility Safety Health and Environment Awareness (SHEA) portfolio of schemes has been developed in conjunction with industry experts to provide a uniform approach to health, safety and environmental awareness across the utilities sector, in line with HSE guidelines.
The Utility SHEA Training (Water) scheme is designed for all persons involved in the operational activities of the water industry who require access to sites, both permanent and temporary, including all levels of operatives, supervisors and management.
The SHEA water training scheme is CSCS affiliated, made up of eight different modules and is designed to bolster your understanding of health and safety. Training runs for a full day and success will enable you to access construction sites for utilities-based work without a specific card.
